Based on rules you set, transactions are automatically assigned to the correct project, phase, and cost category (materials, equipment, or misc.) with no double-entry needed. What happens after connecting to QuickBooks?

Right after connecting, ProyecPro will import: basic company data, accounts, tax rates and codes, employees, classes, list of clients with contact info, list of vendors, and products and services. Import takes less than 5 minutes. You'll get an email when it's finished.

How do I send data into QuickBooks?

You don't have to do much at all. If ProyecPro has the minimum default accounts configured, we'll send relevant data into QuickBooks automatically and in real time: clients, vendors, products, vendor bills, payments, client invoices, deposits, retainage, and time entries.

What data does ProyecPro get from QuickBooks after the initial import?

We keep checking your QuickBooks account frequently to import: clients, vendors, products/services, payments, accounts, classes, and tax rates. Changes in QuickBooks appear in ProyecPro in less than 10 minutes.

Where do I create vendor bills or record payments?

Create vendor bills in ProyecPro to reconcile them with purchase orders and allocate them to your jobs for accurate cost tracking. Payments can be recorded in either platform — we'll let the other side know. Same applies for client invoices: create them in ProyecPro to track progress and profitability.

What should I know about default accounts?

Default accounts are important because when we send information into QuickBooks, we need to know the associated account. You can set default income accounts for each client and default expense accounts for each vendor. Once configured, you don't have to worry about them anymore.
